This baked fruit compote recipe makes 8 servings of fruit compote. The ingredients are a half cup of brown sugar, one cup of wine, sixteen ounces of dried apricots, one cup of pitted prunes, one can of pineapple chunks in juice and one can of cherry pie filling. The compote is made by dissolving the sugar in the wine, putting the fruit in a baking dish, adding the wine mixture, stirring and covering it with foil.
